MySync FAQ asks for omissions. I’ve got one that often is left out of software developers sites: why do you want me to register your product? It’s freeware but crippled unless I register it.
I’d also like to know what the license is going to be once the beta ends.

well, firstly I like to know how many active users I have, and registration gives me a better metric than downloads.
Secondly, it means that the registration system gets some real-world usage (and testing) now, even if you never intend to become a paying customer.
The current intention is to charge $35 for an individual licence, that will cover you for as many machines as you own. Additional users will require their own licence.
