I’ve got an iPod mini that has a small issue: sometimes files get corrupted on it, causing long podcasts to be abruptly cut off.
For some reason, NPR podcasts seem to suffer the most from this (perhaps its just that I listen to too many shows?). Car Talk and Wait Wait … Don’t Tell Me! seem to be randomly shortened to 5 or so minutes.
The really weird thing is this seems to happen even if I remove the file from the iPod and recopy via iTunes.
Of course, these files play just fine in iTunes.
Stupid computers! Why can’t you be more useful!?!
