Queue the Conspiracy Theorists!
According to a University of Rochester report, plastic chemicals “feminize boys.” If I ask how long before a rumor of a global conspiracy against Western boys is mentioned, does that count as a mention? Seriously though, if I could at … Continue reading

My Sinus Surgery
Well, I had another surgery last week, this time for my ailing sinuses. My sinuses have been an ever-increasing problem ever since I moved to Normal. It seems that I’ve been having more and more incidents of sinusitis year after … Continue reading
The U.S. hates (third-world) children
I really hope (and seriously doubt) that this gets reported in many papers and on many news channels, but it should: the United States is the only U.N. Member State voting against the “right of food”. Seriously? I have got … Continue reading

Dealing with Stress
Lately the workplace has been a bit stressful for reasons I won’t go into (though transparency is good and has its place). I’ve definitely been hard-pressed in some of my beliefs and training in respectful communication. If you’re a person … Continue reading

Post Barn Dance Calamity!
Okay, calamity is a bit too strong of a word. Mishap would perhaps be more apropos. On my way back from the annual Cornerstone Barn Dance (which was quite a lot of fun) my beloved Auto Von Bismarck (ie the … Continue reading

Worse than Danielle Franke Syndrome!
My brother-in-law Eric has been sick lately, with very mono-like symptoms. Since Danielle had something similar last year we thought it may be the same thing, which I called “Danielle Franke Syndrome” since it was never identified. Turns out he’s … Continue reading

My latest trip to Equipping Ministries International pt 1.
This weekend I attended EMI‘s Intensive Teacher Training. One of my personal goals is to become fully certified so that I can run a full weekend seminar on communication skills and how they can make or break relationships. I’ve personally … Continue reading
